Baking Soda is great for smelly feet but it is also an excellent Natural Fungicide particularly for the Mildews.
Use at the rate of a teaspoon per litre of water with a teaspoon of cooking oil as well to make it stick.
I use it religiously on my Pumkins and Melons etc when they start to develop a bit of Mildew, if your fruit trees develop any Fungal problems get stuck in with Baking Soda and oil and enjoy a great result, they may need a second dose but you will succeed. (It is available commercially for Organic Farms now)
