Alfalfa is a nice tea and great health tonic for us and it has the same qualities for plants.
It is a prized stock food because of its high nutritional value, the Alfalfa gets this extra nutrient because of its very deep root system, accessing more nutrient from a greater soil area.
The tea of this Herb is an excellent fertiliser for your plants, just make a brew at the rate of one tablespoon per litre of boiled water and let steep until cool and then apply directly to plants.
Use as a normal fertiliser application but if you have a crook plant give it a good dose to help it recover.
